Ndolage Institute of Health Sciences currently Ndolage School of Nursing is a non-profitable institution owned by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania-North Western Diocese (ELCT/NWD), full registered and accredited by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) with Registration number REG/HAS/009. It operates under the guidelines of the Tanzania Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elders and Children department of human resources development. The school has been conducting a three years diploma course and a two years certificate course in Nursing and Midwifery since it was established in 1954.
Since the year 2016 the school has been registered and authorized to conduct a Diploma and Certificate course in Clinical Medicine. This has necessitated the school to change its name, to reflect the newly accommodated Programs. The proposed name is “NDOLAGE INSTITUTE OF HEALTH SCIENCES”
