Once upon a time, Tanzania used to suffer inefficiency in its health sector. A major cause of this was the lack of sufficient medical personnel. A lot of people tie the term “medical personnel” to doctors alone, it goes beyond that. There are several other personnel who work under the health industry including Clinical officers. As a matter of fact, the role clinical officers play in achieving efficient healthcare cannot be overemphasized.

In a bid to achieving its goal of better healthcare, Tanzania has worked on setting up more accredited Clinical officers training schools all over the country.
