We seek a talented and dynamic communications professional with sound experience to help us support African leaders to strengthen their ability to better serve their organisation and nation.
Reporting to our CEO, as Communications Manager you will be responsible for the design, implementation and evaluation of communication initiatives which support the implementation of our strategic plan. You will inform stakeholders of our activities, products and services, and increase recognition of UONGOZI institute in Tanzania, across sub-Saharan Africa and around the world.
This generalist communications position requires a person with advanced knowledge and experience in public relations, media relations, marketing, print and digital media.

Takes the initiative, and can foresee potential opportunities and problems.

Is scrupulous about attention to detail and meeting deadlines in your work and work others do for you.
As you will be interacting with senior government officials, former and current leaders of countries and international consultants you must project a professional image, be sensitive to potential issues, and always be discrete.
