Summary
Yebi Health team is looking for a highly motivated Full Stack Engineer to join our team as a Product Manager. The person filling this position must be a hands-on, enthusiastic, self-motivated developer with strong initiative and desire to succeed in a challenging environment.
Key qualifications
Knowledge and expertise in at least one of the following skills:
Proficiency in one or more of the following developer skills: PHP, Python, Ruby, Linux, PostreSQL/MySQL, React, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5
Experience in sophisticated methodologies such as Data Modelling, Validation, Processing, Hadoop,
MapReduce, Mongo, Pig
Experience with web frameworks such as AngularJS, NodeJS, SproutCore
Strong object-oriented design skills, coupled with a deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms
API design skills
Additional qualifications
Excellent debugging and critical thinking skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, team-based environment
Good communication skills
High-level project management skills
Description
Primary responsibilities include both back- and front-end development of Yebi Health platform.
Specific responsibilities:
Designing user experiences
Gather and evaluate user feedback
Designing databases
Coding for functionality
Ensuring responsiveness of applications
Working alongside graphic designers for web and app design features
Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
Designing and developing APIs
Meeting both technical and consumer needs
Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
Work environment
Engineers at Yebi Health will work on both UI/UX and detailed implementation levels. The successful candidate will be amenable to working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Education level
BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or related fields.
Benefits
The starting salary will fall in Tanzania’s full stack developer range; however, it is negotiable and will ultimately be determined by the candidate’s relevant experience and internal equity.
