HelpAge International in collaboration with BMZ, is implementing two-years programme which started from September 2018 with the aim to contribute in increasing the access to preventive, diagnostic, treatment management and follow-up services for geriatric conditions, NCDs, Chronic infectious diseases, Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services among older people in Tanzania. This is to be achieved through enabling healthcare professionals and local governments to implement needs-based healthcare for chronic communicable diseases, NCDs, comorbidity in vulnerable people, as well in elderly care services
In support of the Government’s effort to provide equitable access to health services for older people through this project, HelpAge is looking for a Local Consultant who will produce a simple Healthy life style and dietary guideline focusing on prevention and management of non-communicable diseases among older people. Consultant can be individual or company, a taxpayer, have relevant skills and experience. The individual or company must be reliable and willing to participate in competitive bidding. Nevertheless, applicant should not be sanctioned by any corporate body due to unethical practice.
Interested individual should send a letter of expression of interest with technical and financial proposal. Also, the following documents will be required during submission.
1. The details information of the applicant in form of CV or Business profile which includes full name, physical address, telephone number, email address, the name of principle contact, statement of capability and the detail of the similar work undertaken for past three years.
2. For a company, (Certified copy of incorporation or Business name registration certificate; TIN, VAT, and Business License)
The deadline for submission will be on Tuesday 12th November 2019 not later than 12.00. Any submission that will be received after above specified date and time shall not be considered.
