Job Description
We are looking for a high-performing HR manager to act as liaison manager between the labor force and management. You will be responsible for carrying out corporate policies including pay, benefits, and relations with employees, training, and health and safety initiatives. Managing subordinate employees’ daily tasks and ensuring that project/department milestones/goals are accomplished while adhering to agreed budgets are essential responsibilities. Responsibilities
- Control the completion of all required paperwork, employee communications, benefits upkeep, leave tracking, management reports, workers’ compensation claims, and return-to-work programs.
- Complete initial reporting, investigation of accidents, transmission of work limitations, and communications with claim adjusters, tracking, and analysis of claim review for settlements
- Make termination packages, finish the terminations that have been assigned, and make sure that all the paperwork related to termination is in order.
- Overseeing staff performance evaluations and assisting with salary planning
- Manage HR-related projects and activities all year long, keep HR-related spreadsheets up to date, and deliver them according to a set schedule.
- Establish labor policies
- Deal with the grievance process
- Manage the resolving of disputes between unions, management, workers, or governmental organizations, etc.
- Providing management with advice on contract negotiations and other management-union issues
Knowledge and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree preferably in a Human Resources e.
- At least 5 years’ experience, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
- Solid experience in employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and provide strategic HR recommendations.
