We are seeking for enthusiastic and qualified experienced personnel for
the following position:
INTERNAL MEDICINE SPECIALIST – (1 POSITION)
To provide clinical including quality and administrative leadership in
the department through the development and implementation of clinical
service and operational plans which is aligned with the vision of AKHST
to develop secondary care in Mwanza, extend its services to Outreach
Centers and establish a learning environment with a view to foster
education and partnerships.
» Develop / adapt short and medium term strategic plans for the department.
» Participate in budget planning and implementation.
» Lead implementation of the departmental plan including its clinical

» Coordinate referrals with other hospitals including digital health

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
» Graduation from a medical school recognized by the TCU.
» Successful completion of a structured accredited Residency Training in

» Any other Post graduate course will be desirable.
» Total experience (training and post-training) should be equal to, or
more than five (5) years
» A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a Hospital level after
