NACTE Admission into teaching and Learning Facilitation Programmes for 2023/2024 – NACTE application za vyuo vya ualimu 2023/2024
The Admissions into teaching and Learning Facilitation Programmes are processed through NOAVS. The applications by using NOAVS are lodged through the Internet.
The process is interactive in such a way that the applicant can easily and conveniently follow the instructions given by the system in the course of lodging an application.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST) requested NACTE to coordinate applications for admission for Certificate and Diploma in Teacher Education to be offered by public Teachers Colleges.
The Ministry set and issued entry requirements for Teacher Education programmes to guide the admission of students both in public and private Teachers’ Colleges for a given academic year.
The Programmes for Diploma in Secondary Education included Social Science and Languages, Domestic Science, Business Education, Mathematics and Science, Technical Education, Physical Education, Special Needs Education, Agriculture and Fine Art. The Teacher Education programmes for Certificate levels were Grade IIIA in Primary Education, Early Childhood Education, Physical Education and Certificate in Special Needs Education. The minimum entry qualifications set by MoEST were as detailed herein:
