RAO Health Training Center (HTC) is a higher learning institution registered with
the National Council of Technical Education (NACTE) number HAS/110. RAO
HTC was began operations at the RAO Hospital, but now has a campus in the
high density area of Rorya District. RAO HTC currently offers 2 programs:
1. Clinical Medicine
– Certificate (2 Years)
– Diploma (3 Years)
2. Community Health Certificate program (1 Year)
Admission Requirements:
Clinical Medicine – applicant must have a Certificate of Secondary Education
with at least a D in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematic and English.
Community Health (NTA 4) – applicant must have a Certificate of Secondary
Education with at least a D in Biology and D in 3 other subjects.
