Forestry Training Institute (FTI) Olmotonyi is government owned organization under Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism (MNRT) established in 1937 as a Forestry Training School. Since its establishment and particularly from the 1980s the Institute has grown in both size and quality. Its services have reached many countries in Eastern, Western, Central and Southern Africa. The Institute is registered by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) with registration number REG/ANE/007 and has been granted full accreditation in December 2005 to offer National Technical Awards (NTA). The Institute currently offers Basic Certificate (NTA 4) in Forestry, Technician Certificate (NTA 5) in Forestry and Ordinary Diploma (NTA 6) in Forestry as well as short courses and consultancies in all environmental related fields including beekeeping and climate change.

OR Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least One (1) Principle Pass in either Biology or Geography or Chemistry or Physics or Agriculture. OR Holder of NTA Level 5 or 6 from related institutions recognized by NACTE, Including; Beekeeping Training Institute(BTI) Tabora , Forest Industries Training Institute (FITI) Moshi, College of African Wildlife Management (CAWM) Mweka, Other Institutions offering agriculture, animal health and crop production such as Livestock Training Institutions such as Tengeru Agriculture College, Livestock Training Agency Mpwapwa, Livestock Training Agency Morogoro, Livestock Training Agency Madaba and others of this nature. 100 2 Local Fee: TSH. 805,000/= ,
