The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) is Government Institution which was established by the Parliamentary Act No. 21 of 1973. NECTA is responsible for the administration of all National Examinations in Tanzania.
The School Certificate Examinations was taken by the African Students for the first time in 1947 and that of the Higher School Certificate in 1960.

how can i get my form four certificate?

HOW CAN I GET MY FORM FOUR EXAMINATION RESULT SLIP?
NB: I HAVE ALREADY PAID 100,000/=TSHS AT NMB.
Attention: Ministry of Education or TAMISEMI Tanzania: Which authority is responsible to issue the Form IV & Form V leaving certificates after sitting for teh last year exami ations?

Starting in 2021, this exam has been added to one subject and has a total of six exam subjects

First, the time to do this test should be extended to three days, instead of two.
Second, the duration of the exam (paper) should also be increased, the Mathematics exam, should be three hours and the rest should be two hours.
This means that candidates will do two ‘papers’ every day, morning and afternoon. Also, it will provide an opportunity for them to take their exams as ‘relaxed’ unlike Now where they are taking the exam as an ‘operation’
