Telkom Learnership Programme
Telkom is offering 12-month learnership programmes for South African citizens originating from various provinces and would like practical working exposure. The Telkom Learnership Programmes is a remarkable series of learnerships that equips you with the foundation of this sector. Throughout the programme, you will be subjected to a structured curriculum that combines both theoretical assessments and practical working sessions held in a real-time company setting. Under the guidance of professional training providers, you will be encouraged to show immense progress as you work your way to a qualification.
The Telkom Learnership mainly deals in the field of Commercial Support. The programme is on the look out for candidates who would like to pursue a qualification in either one of these fields:
- Wholesale & Retail Operations (NQF Level 3)
- Telecommunication Networks Operation (NQF Level 4)
Throughout the course of the learnership, selected participants will be given a monthly allowance of R5 000 to support their journey.

Programme Requirements
Interested candidates who want to apply for this learnership position should ensure that they meet the following criteria;
- You must be in possession of an N6 Electrical Engineering (Light Current) qualification OR have completed academic training (awaiting experiential training in order to obtain the full qualification); or
- Have a BSc Electrical Engineering (Light Current) qualification OR have completed academic training (awaiting experiential training in order to the full qualification); or
- Be in possession of an S4 Electrical Engineering (Light Current) qualification OR have completed academic training (awaiting experiential training in order to obtain the full qualification); or
- Possess of a BTech Electrical Engineering (Light Current) qualification OR have completed academic training (awaiting experiential training in order to the full qualification).
Other Requirements
- You must be a South African citizen
- Applicants must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
