Ancillary healthcare Learnership Programme
Netcare Education (Pty) Ltd, Faculty of Nursing and Ancillary Healthcare (FNAH), a division of Netcare Limited, is dedicated to developing the clinical knowledge and skills of nursing and health care-related professionals.
Netcare and Netcare Education embrace the principle of life-long learning. We provide formal and short courses; basic and post-basic education and training for enrolled nurses (EN) and registered nurses (RN), as well as informal programmes for ancillary health care practitioners. This ensures that nursing and ancillary health care practitioners can be developed in their areas of practice. We endeavour to grow our people personally and professionally as a critical factor to improve the South African economy.
A holistic approach is taken, combining theory with Work Integrated Learning (WIL) in hospitals, so as to provide the best learning opportunities for developing knowledge, skills, attitudes and values, as well as enabling qualified health care professionals to remain up to date with the current practice.
Our programmes will provide the practical acumen and relevant theory of nursing and health care in the chosen field of specialisation, thereby equipping individuals to operate with confidence as respected members of the health care team. Along with enormous intellectual and emotional growth, students will benefit from many more avenues of opportunity through which to realise their individual potential.
