Sasol leanership is a learnership program that gives offers to teeming youth to potentially join the energy giant while learning on the job and giving the ability to continue to drive innovation in the company’s market. With SASOL learnerships you can gain valuable work experience, and settle into a great work environment. The program will give youth the training that will provide them with the technical abilities that can lead to career opportunities in the following fields:
Sasol Learnerships are available in the following fields
Boilermaking, Chemical Plant Operations, Fitting, Instrumentation, and Control Rigging, Turning, Welding, Electrical operations.
Artisan, Senior Artisan, Specialist Artisan, Master Artisan: which will make you a skilled worker adding value to the company directly with your hands.
Technician, Technologist, Engineer: This puts you in charge of a team of workers also adding value to the company.
Foreman, Area Manager, Operations/Maintenance Manager: these positions put you in charge of teams maintaining machinery, which is vital to the company’s operations.
Learning Practitioner (LP), Principal LP, Learning Manager, Senior Learning Manager: these positions will put you in charge of teaching these vital skills to upcoming learners.
When you are selected to join any of these learnerships a great door of opportunity has been opened up to you in which you can learn the skills that will make an important part of this great company.
Programme Requirements
Interested candidates who want to apply for this learnership position should ensure that they meet the following criteria;
- You must have passed Grade 12 English
- All applicants ?need Grade 12 Physical Science HG/SG (Not including Life Sciences, Science Literacy, Functional Science, Natural Science and General Science)
- You? need Grade 12 with Maths HG/SG (Not including Maths Literacy, Additional Maths, Functional Maths, Commercial Maths, Applied Maths)
OR
- You must have an N3 Certificate with Business English, Engineering Science, Maths, and any 2 subjects passed (total of 5 subjects)
Other Requirements
- Good communication skills
- You must be able to speak, read and write English

Application Dates
The Opening and closing dates vary depending on the position available. Applicants are reminded to ensure that they submit their application early the better. Sasol will not tolerate any late application. Closing Date is available on the vacancies portal.
Sasol Learnership Stipend
When you register for a Learnership you will be paid in the form of a stipend. This means you will be paid monthly while you are on the entire learnership. The stipend is R5,500 per month
