Korean government invites 105 international students from 67 countries who wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Korea.
To be selected as a GKS (former KGSP) grantee, any applicant should successfully pass through the 1st selection process set by the Korean Embassy of his or her country of origin.
Please contact the 1st selection organizations to get detailed information on the 1st selection process such as application deadline, required documents, etc.
*Application deadline may differ from one country to another; it is expected to be around late September or early October.

Note [For Tanzanians]: The 2019 Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) Program for an Undergraduate Degree will be granted to one qualified Tanzanian.
To this end, the Embassy plans to recommend two qualified candidates to the Korean National Institute for International Education (NIIED), which will make a final choice of one.
Anyone who wishes to apply is advised to read carefully the attached application guidelines, including required documents.
All documents including the application form should reach the Embassy no later than Monday, 02nd October 2018. And the result of document review will be announced on 8th October 2018. Following interviews will be held at the Embassy in due course with a limited number of applicants who have met the application deadline and passed through the documentation review process.
