CALL FOR 2nd UDOM BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION
About the Competition
The University of Dodoma (UDOM) in collaboration with Global Water Institute (GWI) at Ohio
State University (OSU) invites all UDOM students to participate in the second Business Plan
(BP) Competition which is coordinated by the College of Business Studies and Law (CBSL).
The competition will involve five (5) main stages which are business ideas generation and
submission, screening, development and mentorship, judgment, presentation and prize giving
for the best three (3) BPs.
Objective of the Competition
The competition aims at mentoring and coaching students hence become the good engine of
creating social entrepreneurs. Inspirations and motivations to students through BP competition
can turn social challenges to profitable ventures and be able to earn income and create jobs
for others.
Screening Criteria
All submitted business ideas will undergo thorough screening to get commercially viable,
environmentally friendly and scalable ideas ready for development and mentorship.
Eligible Applications
All UDOM students particularly in teams/groups are eligible and encouraged to apply.
Application Period
Application window for submitting brief single page business ideas closes on 16th February,
2020 at 23:59 hours (EAT).
