ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2021/2022 ACADEMIC YEAR
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences – 3 Years
Direct Entry
An applicant must have Three Principal Passes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum of 6 points whereby One must have at least ‘C’ grade in Chemistry, ‘D’ grade in Biology and at least ‘E’ grade in Physics.
Diploma/Equivalent Entry
An applicant must have a diploma in Medical laboratory Sciences from the recognized institution with an average of “B” or a minimum of GPA of 3.0.

In addition, an applicant must have 5 passes from Non-Religious Subjects with a minimum of ‘D’ grade In Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Basic Mathematics and English Language at O-Level.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Education – 3 Years
Diploma/Equivalent Entry
An applicant must have a diploma in Nursing or Advanced Diploma in Nursing Education from the recognized institution with an average of “B” or a minimum of GPA of 3.0.
In addition, an applicant must have 5 passes from Non-Religious Subjects with a minimum of ‘D’ grade In Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Basic Mathematics and English Language at O-Level.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy – 4 Years
Direct Entry
An applicant must have Three Principal Passes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum of 6 points whereby One must have a minimum of ‘D’ grade in Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
Diploma/Equivalent Entry
An applicant must have a diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the recognized institution with an average of “B” or a minimum of GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have 5 passes from Non-Religious Subjects with a minimum of ‘D’ grade In Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Basic Mathematics and English Language at O-Level.
- Doctor of Medicine – 5 Years
Direct Entry
An applicant must have Three Principal Passes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum of 6 points whereby One must have a minimum of ‘D’ grade in Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
Diploma/ Equivalent Entry
An applicant must have a diploma in Clinical Medicine from the recognized institution with an average of “B” or a minimum of GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have 5 passes from Non-Religious Subjects with a minimum of ‘D’ grade In Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Basic Mathematics and English Language at O-Level.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing – 4 Years
Direct Entry
An applicant must have Three Principal Passes in Chemistry, Biology and either Physics or Advanced Mathematics or Nutrition with minimum of 6 points whereby One must have at least ‘C’ grade in Chemistry, ‘D’ grade in Biology and at least ‘E’ grade in Physics or Advanced Mathematics or Nutrition.
Diploma/ Equivalent Entry.
An applicant must have a diploma in Nursing from the recognized institution with an average of “B” or a minimum of GPA of 3.0.
In addition, an applicant must have 5 passes from Non-Religious Subjects with a minimum of ‘D’ grade In Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Basic Mathematics and English Language at O-Level.
- Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy – 4 Years Direct Entry
An applicant must have Three Principal Passes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum of 6 points whereby One must have a minimum of ‘D’ grade in Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
Diploma/Equivalent Entry.
An applicant must have a diploma in Medical Imaging/Radiography from the recognized institution with an average of “B” or a minimum of GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have 5 passes from Non-Religious Subjects with a minimum of ‘D’ grade In Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Basic Mathematics and English Language at O-Level.
