INVITATION FOR ADMISSION INTO DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCES, PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES AND DIAGNOSTIC RADIOGRAPHY PROGRAMMES FOR THE
ACADEMIC YEAR 2019/20
The Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences is pleased to invite applications from qualified
candidates who completed either form IV or form VI wishing to pursue studies in Diploma in: (i). Medical
Laboratory Sciences, (ii). Pharmaceutical Sciences and (iii). Diagnostic Radiography at the Catholic University
of Health and Allied Sciences for the academic year 2019/20.
1. DIPLOMA PROGRAM IN:
i. Pharmaceutical Sciences
ii. Medical Laboratory Sciences and
iii. Diagnostic Radiography.
2. DURATION: Three (3) years.
3. ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS:
(I) DIPLOMA IN PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES (DPS)
The entry qualification for this programme shall be holders of Certificate of Secondary
Education (CSEE) with four passes including “C” pass in Chemistry and Biology; and “D” pass
in Physics/Engineering Sciences and any other subject. Pass in Mathematics and English will
be an added advantage.
(II) DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCES (DMLS)
The entry qualification for this programme shall be holders of Certificate of Secondary
Education (CSEE) with five passes including “C” pass in Chemistry and Biology; and “D” passes
in Physics/Engineering Sciences, Mathematics and English.
(III) DIPLOMA IN DIAGNOSTIC RADIOGRAPHY (DDR)
The entry qualification for this programme shall be holders of Certificate of Secondary
Education (CSEE) with four passes including “C” pass in Physics/Engineering Sciences,
Biology; and Chemistry and “D” pass in any other subject. Pass in Mathematics and English will
be an added advantage.
