Position: Head of Credit
Academic Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree and professional certifications such as Chartered Financial.
- Analyst (CFA) or Risk Management.
- Association (RMA) certification in a relevant discipline is an added advantage.
- Experience in Commercial Banking of at least five (5) years in Credit, with a focus on credit analysis, credit risk management and lending operations.
Technical Skills/Competencies:
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies, loan structuring, and credit administration
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Good leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficient in using credit risk management software and other relevant tools.
