Luis Miquissone joined Al Ahly from Tanzanian outfit Simba SC in the summer of last year and has had a slow start to his Reds career.
The 26-year-old managed just three goals and one assist for Al Ahly in 16 games across all competitions so far this season.
His performances were met with criticism from local pundits who believe the Mozambique international did not benefit Al Ahly since his arrival.
Rumours have emerged that Al Ahly will listen to incoming offers for Miquissone in the upcoming transfer window after a disappointing campaign.
However, Miquissone’s agent Thato Matuka revealed that Al Ahly is yet to receive an official bid and denied links with South African giants Kaizer Chiefs.
It’s worth noting that Young Africans SC have reportedly launched a bid to sign Miquissone while Simba SC, Al-Merrikh and Al Hilal all submitted enquires to Al Ahly about his availability for next season according to iDiski Times.
“The club [Kaizer Chiefs] have not communicated with me, I have not offered him to them either, it’s a no,” Matuka said.
“Simba have not contacted me either and Yanga it’s a no as well, we’ve not heard anything but if he leaves Al Ahly, the aim, if he leaves, is to take him North.”
