About Uvinza District Council (DC)
Uvinza District has been established in accordance with Act No. 397 and Government Proclamation no. 237 published in the Government Gazette on September 09, 2011. The District Council commenced on July 01, 2013. The Uvinza District Council was derived from the Kigoma District Council.
MISSION OF UVINZA DISTRICT COUNCIL:
“Uvinza District Council provides adequate management and facilitation to potential domestic and International investers and built capacity to ensure sustainable economic and social service in the District”
VISION OF UVINZA DISTRICT COUNCIL:
“Uvinza District Council aims to facilitate maximum utilization of economic and social opportunities for the prosperous and sustainable development of the community”
