SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE 2019 UNITED NATIONS OFFICE FOR OUTER SPACE AFFAIRS (UNOOSA) POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD) PROGRAMME IN SPACE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AT ARCSSTE-E, OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY, ILE-IFE, OSUN STATE

The PDG courses offered are

1. Remote Sensing/GIS
2. Basic Space and Atmospheric Science
3. Satellite Communications
4. Satellite Meteorology
5. Global Navigation Satellite Systems

General Admission Requirements

1. An applicant must have bachelor degree in Physics, applied Geophysics, Meteorology, Geology, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science and Geography, Remote Sensing/GIS, or any other Science related course from any recognized University or Institution.
2. Documents to be attached with application form should include certified copies of:-
   1. Bachelor’s degree certificates;
   2. Academic Transcript;
   3. Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE);
   4. Certificate for Secondary School Examination (CSEE);
   5. Birth Certificate; and,
   6. Medical report form

Tuition Fees

The Tuition fee for the PGD programme is N250,000, however the Centre offers full sponsorship covering Tuition fee, accommodation and return flights tickets provided by UNOOSA for foreign participants
