Job Location :Head Office, Hq

Job Purpose:

Identify areas of improvement in bancassurance revenues and margins, provide analytics and report on pricing, costs, and revenue for the department in both life and general products.
Develop and maintain key reports for management and regulators as required; maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor revenue performance for bancassurance products
  • Ensure compliance and governance within the department.
  • Provide analytical reports on performance of bancassurance products.
  • Evaluate insurers performance in line with revenue contribution and claim performance.
  • Conduct market analysis on bancassurance products periodically.
  • Address and close Audit issues for bancassurance department
  • Regular review on product mapping and compliance to regulatory MRO.
  • Monitor execution of approved bancassurance projects and initiatives
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and monitor Departmental strategy and budget execution.
  • Prepare Regulatory and Internal Reports on business development and claims.
  • Monitor operational activities to ensure that they are compliant with regulations, policies, process, and procedures of the Bank.
  • Develop and recommend appropriate initiatives to drive and achieve cost efficiency within the department.
  • Drive processes automation within the department

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good understanding on market dynamics and business intelligence
  • Conversant in customer segmentation, pricing and product development
  • Stakeholders’ management
  • Understanding of the regulatory sector
  • Knowledge on product life cycle.
  • Communication; Report writing skills

  • Control and Risk management

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree/ Advanced Diploma in Finance, Information Technology, Insurance or Business field
  • ICT background and certifications will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS excel.
  • 5 years’ experience in a related role
