The Higher Education Students’ Loans Board (HESLB) Online application system was open from July 15 to September 30, 2022, All the needy undergraduate applicants were allowed to apply for Higher Education loans via HESLB’s Online Loan Application System (OLAMS).
Shortly after the closure of the HESLB online application, the Higher Education Students’ Loans Board (HESLB) management will be conducting a careful analysis to identify the neediest applicants for loan allocation by considering the guidelines and criteria for issuance of students’ loans and Grants for the 2022/2023 academic year.
The HESLB neediest applicants will be successfully allocated for the 2022/2023 academic year based on the newly HESLB guidelines and criteria for issuance of students’ loans and Grants for the 2022/2023 academic year. Sadly, due to some reasons, some applicants will not be allocated for HESLB loans 2022/2023 during the first batch, in such a case they will be required to wait for other upcoming batches.
HESLB list of successful loan beneficiaries release date
The HESLB list of successful undergraduate loan beneficiaries for the academic year 2022/23 are usually released by HESLB after the completion of the loan allocation process to the neediest. We are expecting that the HESLB list of successful undergraduate loan beneficiaries for the academic year 2022/23 is anticipated to be released by the end of October 2022

Once the HESLB list of successful undergraduate loan beneficiaries is out, all the successful loan beneficiaries will be able to check their loan allocation via the HESLB’s Online Loan Application System (OLAMS) – http://olas.heslb.go.tz/index.php/olas/Olas.
To check loan application status/allocation status for 2022/2023 an applicant will be required to login on the HESLB’s Online Loan Application System (OLAMS) using his/her login credentials
