Online Teachers Application System (Oteas) : This is an Online System created and managed by TAMISEMI that allows you to apply for teaching posts in Tanzania and gives you the opportunity to track every stage of processing up-to selection process.
It is a sophisticated system whereby all slots are made available for all qualified graduates and teachers. Tanzanian citizen have welcomed this move with open arms as people can access relevant data in real-time.
Government teaching jobs advert has been published online. All Eligible and Interested applicants may apply online for the available vacancies before the recruitment application deadline.
Qualified applicants per the terms of the advertisement should apply to the online teacher’s application system. All applications must be sent online via online teacher’s application system.
Application Closing Date: All candidates should send their applications on or before Monday, 21th September 2020.

Visit ajira.tamisemi.go.tz to access Tamisemi Online Teachers Application System (OTEAS) portal. You will be welcomed by the home page, whereby you can access all the current openings. Since it is your first application and you are not yet in the system, you need to register.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE STARTING THE APPLICATION PROCESS
New Applicant
- If you are new applicant use “New Applicant” or “Register” link to begin application process. Then follow the steps to complete your appliction.
If you already have an account - Enter your form four Index Number (username) and Password to login.
- After successful login, complete the Application form and submit.
- Remember to Login to check your Application Status.
REMEMBER:
Your Form Four Index Number and any other used Certificates should be VALID as they will be verified before you are selected.
INVALID NUMBER WILL LEAD TO REJECTION OF YOUR APPLICATION
