Call for Application
The General Public is hereby informed that the Kingdom of Morocco through the Moroccan Agency of International Cooperation (AMCI), has granted a scholarship programme to eligible Tanzanian Nationals to pursue Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies at Moroccan Public Institutions for the academic year 2019/2020.
A directory of Training Institution is available on the website of AMCI through www.amci.ma containing a complete list of the Moroccan Public Institutions of Higher Education as well as specific information about them, including the conditions of access, the subjects and the duration of the studies.
General Admission Requirements
- (i)Undergraduate Studies
- (a)Bachelor Degree
- Applicant must have completed Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSE) in 2018-2019 and pass with Division I or II / Diploma with minimum of Upper Second Class;
- Age not older than 23 years by August 2019;
- Not admitted in any Higher Learning Institution in the country; and
- Medical Certificate issued by public medical hospitals certifying that
your are not suffering from any contagious illness or carrying a
pandemic.
- Postgraduate
- (a)Masters:
- Must be holders of a first degree with a minimum of Upper Second Class;
- Not admitted in any Higher Learning Institution; and
- Medical Certificate issued by public medical hospitals certifying that
your are not suffering from any contagious illness or carrying a
pandemic.
- (b)PhD
- Must be holders of Master’s degree in the required subject/specialities
- of studies recognized as being equivalent to Moroccan granted
certificate; - Not admitted in any Higher Learning Institution;
- Medical Certificate issued by public medical hospitals certifying that
your are not suffering from any contagious illness or carrying a
pandemic.
NB:
- Applicants with a certificate level of training in French language will have an added advantage;
- For all programmes the language of instruction is French except for Islamic and Arabic Literature which will be conducted in Arabic Language;

- There is no Loan or grant from the Goverment of Tanzania for candidates who will be offered this Scholarship.
List of documents to be submitted include:
Two (02) copies of
- Completed filled application forms;
- Certified true copy of academic certificates, transcripts, birth certificate;
- Certified true copy of passport;
- Medical certificate issued by public medical hospitals certified that he/she is not suffering from any contagious illness or carrying a pandemic;
- Two recent passport size photographs, in colour, (with the name, surname and nationality of the candidate written on the back of the photos); and
- Applicant for Masters and PhD must provide a copy of an Abstract of dissertation/thesis of graduation/thesis for PhD degree.
The scholarship will cover
(a) (i) Monthly allowance of 750 Dirhams (Approximate to U.S $ 75);
(ii) Tuition fees;
(b) Other costs will be covered by Applicant (Student)
(i) Accommodation;
(ii) Registration fees; and
(iii) Air ticket, go and return.
Medical coverage:
Foreign students are required to subscribe to an insurance policy during their study stay in Morocco that offers them the following services:
- Reimbursement of medical expenses;
- Medical care;
- Final medical evacuation to home country in cases of serious illness that will not allow students to continue with their studies in Morocco; and
- Repatriation of body in case of death in Moroccan territory.
